Admission to Englesea Brook Chapel & Museum is free, but donations are very welcome. A small charge is made for organised groups, of £3.00 per head. This includes refreshments, a talk and tour of the chapel and museum.
Shop
As well as an impressive array of exhibits, you will also find a shop at Englesea Brook selling traditional toys and games. We also stock a range of very attractive book reprints relating to various aspects of Methodist history.
Book Sales
We have a second hand Book Shop at Hassall Road Methodist Church, Alsager, with over 25,000 books. It is open Fridays (10.00-2.00)and Saturdays (10.00-1.00). The sale of second hand books continues to be a major fund raiser for Englesea Brook, and volunteers are needed so that we can open the book shop for more hours a week.
Refreshments
Tea and coffee is available. Visitors are welcome to bring picnics which can be enjoyed on the site. Local pubs provide lunch and evening meals.
Toilets
Toilets are located at the rear of the museum building.
Disabled access
Access involves steps, so please contact us if you need further details. Planning permission has been granted for a scheme to create disabled access to the Museum. We are hoping to complete the work by August 2013.
