BOOK SALE PLUS - THIS YEAR!

When the summer book sale opens at Mow Cop this year there will be a second sale also opening at Hassall Road, Alsager.     In addition to the 20,000 books at Mow Cop Chapel there will be a further 10,000 books at Hassall Road.

As usual the sale will be held to raise funds for Englesea Brook Chapel and Museum who have an exciting plans of site development that will take place in the months ahead.

The details of the sale at Mow Cop are as follows: Saturday 25, Monday 27 August 10.30am - 5.00pm.

Tuesday 28 until Friday 31 August 12.00noon - 8.00pm,

Saturday 1 September 10.30am - 5.00pm.    Everything will be half price on the last day.

At Hassall Road, Alsager, opening will be on Saturday 25, Monday 27, Tuesday 28 10.00am -5.00pm each day.

Mow Cop Methodist Chapel is built on the site of the first open air camp meeting that was held on 31 May 1807.   Part of the historic Englesea Brook collection of religious banners will be on display during the sale.     The address is Methodist Chapel, Primitive Street, Stoke -on-Trent ST7 3NW.
