Become a Friend of Englesea Brook now!
The Friends of Englesea Brook is an exciting new development that enhances the Englesea Brook experience. Co-ordinated by volunteers Elaine Berry and Richard Pearce, the Friends are reaching out for your support from the historic heartland of Primitive Methodism.
Friends of Englesea Brook receive two editions of the The Ranter's Digest per year, the first of which you will get as soon as you join. The January issue for 2010 is a Temperance Special with a piece by Professor Edward Royle revealing a diversity of attitudes towards alcohol among nineteenth-century Methodists that many readers will find surprising. Sign up now to get your copy!
Furthermore, you will receive advance invitations to special events and Heritage services being run by the Museum, such as our forthcoming study day on conflicted faith and our Museums at Night bat extravaganza.
Becoming a Friend allows you to get more involved with the museum experience and offers the chance to join us as a volunteer either to help with social events for fund raising or to give practical help with day to day tasks.
To be a part of the Englesea Brook family we are asking for a minimum donation of £10 per annum per household. To join, send a cheque payable to Englesea Brook Chapel and Museum addressed to Englesea Brook Chapel and Museum, Englesea Brook, Crewe, CW2 5QW.
