Banners and paintings now online!

105 images of oil paintings and banners at Englesea Brook Museum can now be viewed online. Some are on display at the Museum, and at Mow Cop Methodist Church, but it has not been possible for visitors to see them all, as most are in the museum store.

We are delighted to make them accessible through the Your Paintings website, thanks to a partnership project between the BBC and the Public Catalogue Foundation. The aim of the project is to create a complete online catalogure of every oil painting in public collections across the country.
